What is the Residents' Council?
The Residents' Council is a group of representatives of the Ukrainian community living in the Netherlands, as well as local residents who want to support this community. It was created to:
- represent residents' interests before the municipality and other authorities;
- convey suggestions, ideas, and issues arising in the community;
- help improve living and integration conditions;
- maintain communication between the Ukrainian community, local residents, and administration.
The Council's goal is to make life for Ukrainians in the Netherlands and their interaction with the local community more comfortable, safe, and well-organized.

How does the Council work?
- different cities and communities have their own Council representatives;
- each community member can submit their suggestions or ideas through their local representative, so that everyone's voice is heard and considered in the Council's work;
- regular general meetings and discussions are held with participation of Ukrainian community and local residents;
- agreed decisions and proposals of the Council are forwarded to municipalities and other responsible authorities after sessions.

- wants to participate in community life;
- has ideas for improving life;
- is ready to represent the interests of other residents;
- wants to help their community.
